Training Activities

Lekotek leader showing adapted toys to elementary school childrenLekotek of Georgia provides workshops on inclusion, computer play activities for preschool children and adaptive play with toys.  We conduct workshops on disability awareness, adapted toys, and computer equipment at elementary, middle and high schools.

We are also an approved internship training site. Professionals with a degree in special education or an allied therapy field are eligible to participate in a one week internship to become a Lekotek leader.  Lekotek of Georgia has trained professionals who have become Lekotek leaders in Georgia and other states.

We offer an assistive technology training course for Computer Camp volunteers.

Consulting services are available to agencies, professionals and parents.
