Join us for a music and movement class for children with special needs and their families. Each class has multiple activities including dancing, singing, playing instruments, singing books, and other fun stuff! Come on out and move to the music! When:
Who: Children with special needs ages 3 to 7 years old and their families. Class size is limited to eight children. Where: Lekotek on Cliff Valley Way

LekoPals is a unique social program for teens (ages 15 and above) and young adults with disabilities. Modeled after Northwestern University's Best Buddies, LekoPals creates opportunities for teens and young adults with and without disabilities to enjoy activities together. Typical peers receive training on disabilities and become mentors and friends during activities that include bowling, movies, and other fun and age appropriate activities. Lekotek appreciates the partnership of Riverwood High School in helping to make LekoPals unique and successful. Lekotek's philosophy is that everyone is a "player" and able to participate in the community. If necessary, adaptations are made by the staff for each outing.
