Lekotek has many special events throughout the year. Here's a look at what's coming up in 2012. We'll post details about each event as soon they're available. Please call our office at 404-633-3430 to RSVP or to get more information.

Join us for fun and accessible activities while we meet new friends. The location varies, so please check here to see where each play date will take place.
Upcoming dates are:
• January 16, 2012 (Monday), 10:00am - 12:00 am at Hipp Hopp
Join your Lekotek friends at Hipp Hop (formerly Bounce-n-Bobs) for 2 hours of active fun while the kids are out of school! Socks are required to bounce!
Cost: $5 per child, payable to Hipp Hop. (This is a special discounted rate for Lekotek families for this event.)
RSVP: Please RSVP to Lekotek at 404-633-3430 by January 10.
Directions: Hipp Hop is located at 1936 Briarwood Ct NE, Atlanta 30329, just across the 85 access road from Lekotek. Go past REI and turn right at Pro Audio onto Briarwood Court and you'll see Hipp Hop on the left.

Let's all go out and play! Noah's Ark is a rehabilitation service for animals. We can have a small picnic and then go in to see the animals!
From the Noah's Ark Web site: "Noah's Ark is located on 250 acres in Locust Grove, Georgia. We provide a loving home for abused, unwanted, and orphaned animals. Noah's Ark is not a zoo or humane society but a place dedicated to the care and treatment of wildlife, domestic livestock, exotic animals, and birds."

Cost: Free. (Please, if you want to, donate to the Ark to help them to continue to provide services.)

Lekotek is going to the zoo!
When: Saturday, March 24, 2012; 10am til ...
Tickets: Please RSVP to Lekotek at 404-633-3430. Tickets will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. (Immediate family only; additional tickets may be purchased at the zoo for friends or extended family.) Children 2 years and younger don't need a ticket.

Join us at the either the Cobb or Southside office for a fun family event! This is a new event for two of our satellites. It is bound to be a big hit! Eggs will be hidden for all the children to find. Some are specially adapted to make them easier to find and pick up. Each egg will have a prize inside! Please let Lisa or Jackelyn know if your child has any food allergies as some eggs will have some candy inside.

All Lekotek families are welcome to have fun at the Pumpkin Patch! You can go on a hayride, pet the animals, eat good food, and make some arts and crafts. Best of all you can pick your pumpkin! There is no charge unless you purchases are made from Berry Patch Farms for food or larger pumpkins!

Each year Lekotek and FOCUS hold an annual holiday party. There are always lots of things to do. There will be some arts and crafts, cookie decorating, music, a magician, a Caricature Artist and time to visit with your friends and families! Of course, what holiday party would be complete without a visit from Santa?
When: Saturday, December 8, 2012; 11:30 till 2:00 p.m.
Where: Eastminster Presbyterian Church - 5801 Hugh Howell Rd, Stone Mountain
Cost: It's easy.... just bring a dish! If your Last name begins with
A-P Bring a vegetable or other side dish
Q-T Bring a dessert
U-Z Bring bread
Please bring enough to serve 10 or more - FOCUS will provide the main dish.
