Our Tenth Annual Golf Classic to benefit Lekotek of Georgia will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009.  (We were rained out on our original May 4th date.)

Location

The tournament will be held at Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club.  The Club is located at 4900 Chedworth Drive, Stone Mountain.  The 18 hole golf course is a championship layout with beautiful bentgrass greens, plush fairways, and spectacular views.  Emphasizing strategy, the course offers a fun and exciting challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

Please note that soft spikes are required.

Directions to Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club:
From 285 North, take 78 East to the Hugh Howell Road exit.  Go straight on Hugh Howell.  Turn left on Kanawha Drive and left again on Chedworth Lane.  Turn right onto Chedworth Drive.  Continue to the right, through the gate to the course.

• $25,000 .. Classic Title Sponsor (seven foursomes)

• $10,000 .. Clubhouse Sponsor (five foursomes)

• $7,500 .... Lunch Sponsor (four foursomes)

• $5,000 .... Breakfast Sponsor (three foursomes)

• $2,500 .... Beverage Cart Sponsor (two foursomes)

• $1,200..... Hole Sponsor (one foursome)

All sponsors will receive recognition via signage and the awards banquet.

Registration

The registration deadline is August 3, 2009.  There are two ways to register for the golf classic:

• Register by mail:  Print the brochure and registration form (pdf file, 3 MB).  Fill it out, and mail it to Lekotek at the address given on the form.  Include your check or call and give us your credit card information.

• Register by fax:  Print the brochure and registration form (pdf file, 3 MB).  Fill it out, and fax it to Lekotek.  Our fax number is 404-633-1242.  Then mail us your check or call and give us your credit card information.

Raffle

Lekotek is seeking donations for the golf classic raffle.

The $25 fee for 3 mulligans includes 5 raffle tickets!

Ways Non-golfers Can Help

There's something for everyone to do at the tournament.  Volunteers are needed to help with registration, selling mulligans, and to provide general help on the golf course.  If you'd like more information or want to sign up to volunteer, call Lekotek at 404-633-3430 and ask to speak with Helene.
